“ The cheese slice is good. Very good service. The dough was actually pretty tasty, and they use quality ingredients. For San Francisco, I was pretty impressed with this slice. ”
“ I've been going to this pizzeria for one reason. Pizza. The food here is immaculate, and showcases a variety of toppings. The service is quick, ensuring that you won't have to wait very long, and it has a nice vibe to it that a lot of other places don't have. Come here or you'll regret it. ”
“ Terrific NY-style pizza. Pre-made and heat up when ordered. Decent selection, not a wide variety, but good enough. Very good prices with large slices (I ate two and that was just enough), no frills, straight-forward service, which is refreshing. TVs help too to watch sports when dining in, although a small spot, so take out is recommended. Parking can be tough in the area, but that's expected. Go-to pizza spot when in the area. ”
“ More like 4.5 stars, but absolutely one of the best slice shops in SF with zero hype and no line. Love the plain slice! Sometimes I get a bianca slice for variety. A sleeper hit here is the Cesar salad, which has no business being as good as it is. It's got the usual dressing and croutons, but also a bunch of frico (crispy cheese) in the mix. ”
“ A pizza place open til 2am? Yes, please! We got off work and needed some pizza. I googled it and it showed it was nearby. It's a great little spot on the corner next to a nail salon and a busy bar. They have ready made pizza by the slice that is warmed up in about 5 minutes, super hot. We got one piece of pepperoni and one ham and pineapple. The pizza is good! Nice chewy crispy crust too! . They also have a good sized menu with everything from chopped salads to garlic knot bread. I wished I could've tried to parm sandwich! Friendly service! Room to eat inside. Canned sodas. I would come back because the pizza was good and the vibe is nice! ”
“ Never know how you'll find something new. I was making multiple visits to visit an ailing friend and noticed this corner restaurant. One mid-afternoon, I looked in and saw a sign stating they sell slices. Walking in, I saw a glass counter with eight or nine varieties available. After looking and reading the respective sign descriptions, I decided to get two slices to bring home since I'd already eaten lunch. I first tried a mushroom slice (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=lmuspSPpyHxd-zcIPRHHdw&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q), having it for dinner that evening. I garnished it with packets of red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese. I liked the thinness of body of the crust as it remained firm but wasn't hard or dry. Meanwhile, the crust edge had an interesting chewy bread-like texture. The next day, I reheated the pepperoni and mushroom slice (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=YeTgmVafjg3FH_Wk3XqvWw&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). Though I liked both pizzas, I enjoyed this more as the pepperoni and more generous portion of tomato sauce gave it more flavor. There were only a few diners in the restaurant and a few takeouts as I studied the slice options on the counter. The cashier/owner was courteous and efficient in giving me the slices. I will come again if my schedule is not tight and likely get a slice or two again to bring home. Good location given the number of medical buildings and hospitals within a two to three block radius. Parking can be challenging during meal hours but isn't bad during off hours. I stopped here on a Saturday around noon and they had just opened so I picked up another couple of slices for future breakfasts again. ”
